This process layers carbon and nitrogen materials directly onto the garden bed. Building lasagna beds is ideally completed in the autumn so there’s plenty of time for the materials to break down over the winter months ready for spring planting. Materials that are used to create our lasagna beds include spray free straw, bokashi, leaves, woodchip, aged manure, biochar, cardboard and garden made compost.
